About Pierpoint Institute

An institution that begins with the community it hopes to serve.

Pierpoint Institute is an independently initiated educational and civic research effort in Vero Beach, bringing art, science and innovation together around meaningful human and community problems.

Purpose

Build bridges between disciplines.

Artists should learn from scientists. Scientists should work beside designers. Technologists should collaborate with storytellers. Pierpoint is being designed as a place where knowledge moves across boundaries and becomes something people can see, build, test and put to work.

Education should not stand apart from the community it serves. It should participate in shaping its future.
Institutional Method

Observe. Listen. Research. Build. Serve.

Long Horizon

2037 is a target for groundbreaking—not a promise.
